ArchitectureThe ISP (Iterity Server Platform) is a stable and very flexible client / server framework with defined API and hidden inner data structure. See the scheme of the ISP architecture in the figure below.
Client side of the ISP represents presentation logic. Server side of the ISP represents application logic. This approach allows development of clients for a number of state of the art devices (MS Windows, web browsers, PDAs, TabletPCs, etc.). The ISP is based on the GNU/Linux OS (2.4.x kernel series). We use our own Linux distribution that is configured to meet all reliability, stability and security criteria of the system. If needed the ISP is able to run on other Linux distributions like RedHat, Mandrake, SuSe, Debian, etc. The ISP uses a very flexible communication protocol based on the XML technology. |
